Introducing....

Baby Ashton......Looking super cute on his birth announcement!!! I am LOVING playing with colors and designs on my new birth announcements. I am pumped for newborn sessions coming up-and thrilled to design announcements for all the fresh little faces! May babies are super special to me... fun times.....

It was fun times this afternoon during my senior session with Phillip. I was sure going into this session that we were going to have a blast - and I was totally right :)I love seniors because they are up to try anything, and Phillip had lots of fun ideas... I was so glad he had his super wonderful girlfriend along with him, so she could help get him to pose just right. I am excited to dive deeper into these proofs - they are so much fun!!!!

Paint the Park.....

We have had A LOT of rain.....Jump right in and paint :) Leave the world better than you found it...That is just what the Paint the Park group did today. We spent the (windy...) day painting Bumpass Park. The paint was blowing all around, but we kept on truckin'....It was a great day and I was so touched at the hard work all the volunteers put in. Thank you so much to everyone who helped with today's community service project. It was a total success! It is great to think of all the children that will spend hours playing at the new colorful park.

beat the rain....

Just beat the rain for today's session. The air was chilly and we could tell the rain was coming, but got in some super cool shots with Nick. I was so glad to get to meet Nick and hear about his future college plans. This is a kid with a plan, and I know he is going to do great things in the future. this time next month....

I can't believe this time next month we will be celebrating our baby girl's first birthday.....Here are some photos from this weekend and her new tutu....11 months today, where does the time go?

Adorable...

I was so excited for today's session because when I met this couple a few months back, I knew they were something special! They are so full of life and full of love for each other. We made our way down Western and through Crown Heights for the engagement session and we laughed the whole time....I am so excited for the wedding! I love a couple who can make each other laugh, and make me laugh :) It was a great afternoon, complete with bubbles and sprinklers :) Here is your sneak peek - you two are ADORABLE!!!!! p.s.....The bubble shot just might be my favorite engagement shot EVER!!!!!

countdown to wedding....

Had to post of few photos of the night out with the girls for Kim's bachelorette party. We had a great time! As you can see, Kim is practicing her hula dance and ready for that Hawaiian honeymoon! The countdown to the wedding is on - just a few weeks :) Off to a wedding consult and little Miss Zoe's Birthday party. It is a beautiful Saturday - get out there and enjoy Spring!

we were so glad to see our old friends abe and olivia! or should I say, mayor Abe.... congrats on winning mayor :) don't forget us little people.....

Most of my days are art-filled - but today was jammed packed full of art in every form! Started the day with a trip down to USAO for our fourth annual chalk art contest. Over 400 teams competed in the 8x8 squares. It is such a fun event! My students rocked it - and I was totally proud of their designs. I am so lucky to have the most creative and talented students in the world....Later in the evening my fellow art teacher/partner in crime, Krista and I took the girls to an art opening. Our great friend and mentor, James Coplin, had an amazing opening of his new work. The girls had fun at their first art show! If you get a bit to check it out he has some wonderful and well priced art for your home.....I wanted to take it all home with me. It was an art filled day, and I would not have it any other way....
