up and running....

The site is back up and running! Sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused. All orders will be filled at light speed to make up for the delay :) Had to share a photo of the baby girl....Surrounded by her toys on Sunday morning. Not sure how she lost her skirt in this photo, but that's alright....Got to show off the baby chub while you can :) I will share some photos of her new top teeth soon - they are almost all the way in out of no where! Looking forward to a great week - two wedding consults with couples I can't wait to meet - a birthday party session for my sweet little niece - and an engagement session on Western (one of my favorite places to shoot)....Life is good :)

just a bit....

The website is down for just a bit.... As you can see Art and Soul got a groovy new way to enter the site (props to my amazing husband for making the super cool splash page) but for the moment while all the kinks are worked out - the main site is down.....Not to worry, we will be back up soon and sporting some new photos from recent sessions.

Brand New....

stole my heart.....

Brand new and fresh, I had the pleasure of meeting little Ashton for the first time this evening. He was everything I imagined and more....Such a handsome little man! He did amazing at his first photo shoot, staying awake at the beginning and then giving us some wonderful sleepy shots. A photographers dream! I could have snuggled this little guy all evening, but Granddad was ready to catch up on his snuggle time. I had a wonderful evening spending time with the new mom and dad, and grandparents. I can't wait to capture more photos of this little guy! Congrats on your new little bundle of PERFECT!

Auburn's first Easter!

She loves candy...My sweet niece, Kallyn. I can't belive he is about to be 17.....My oldest nephew, Caleb... my nephew Chase... my youngest nephew, Colton Checking out her goodies... My cutie-pie niece, Kallyn! Just getting around to posting a few Easter photos. It was a wonderful day! A bit chilly to do a lot of egg hunting, but we still bundled up and hunted a few...Auburn loved her basket goodies - especially the bunny dad picked up for her. She loves stuffed animals so much! She could snuggle them all day! While I had my nephews and niece up for the Easter afternoon we took a few shots in the studio. I had just gotten some new colors of backdrops I wanted to try out. They turned out super cute, but I swear, my nephews are growing so fast! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

fun..fun..fun..

coolest groom in town :) was this cake as good as it looks??? My guess is YES! ring bearers always steal my heart.... The beautiful bride! This wedding was laods of FUN!!! Today's Bride and Groom had me cracking up all night. I knew when we had our wedding consult months back that this wedding was going to be a blast, but I had no idea it would be this much fun! I loved every second of this family. Mom and Dad of the bride and groom were laid back and hilarious....There is nothing better for a wedding photographer than people who are ready to enjoy the day and soak up every minute of it....That is just what they did. Every detail of the wedding was planned perfectly. A lovely setting, totally fun DJ, and most important...FUN PEOPLE! Thanks for keeping me laughing the whole night. Enjoy your sneak peek :)

quartz mountian resort....

My family decided to drag me away from a proofing marathon for a break at Quartz Mountain resort. I had a lot of sessions and weddings to proof, but the great outdoors were calling our names....The resort was amazing and it was perfect weather! Auburn had a blast swimming and getting snuggles from her Papa and Grams. Dusty and I even had some time to catch up on our golf game and do a little fishing. I would recommend Quart Mountain resort to everyone! We had so much fun! Back to proofing :) If you are waiting for your session sneak peek - I should have many posted in the next few days. I am getting super pumped for this weekend and the wonderful wedding I am honored to photograph. I know this wedding is going to be full of fun! Then Easter on Sunday! Love it!

Fun with the Patterson Family!

Not only do I love the parents of these little cuties, but I am so in love with the two Patterson Kids! Little Collin had grown so much since our newborn session. He was so good for his studio session, I was totally impressed! We then ventured outside to the park for pictures of Charter. He tried out all the park equipment and gave me some great shots as he played. Loved catching up with the Patterson's! Can't wait for our next session :)

I love my Job.....

This little flower girl was too adorable for words.. It is days like today that make me realize how much I love my job! A perfect day and a perfect wedding. From head to toe, the most beautiful bride and bridal party I have seen in a long time. You know it is going to be a cool wedding when the ring bearers are wearing little black converse...Adorable... The bride and groom were so laid back and in love, they made my job easy. I was so glad to have along my wonderful intern, Megan! We had such a blast capturing the special day of Ashley and Jameson. I can't wait to get deeper into these proofs, until then, here is your sneak peek! Thank you to an amazing bride and groom - wedding party - and family for a beautiful day!

melt....

My heart just melted tonight when I peeked in to check on my baby girl and found her cuddled with her stuffed animal. Just two short weeks before Auburn was born, my sweet dog, Scotty passed. A wonderful friend gave me this little stuffed animal scotty dog, complete with a red bandanna (just like he always wore) for little Miss Auburn to have. I wish Auburn could have known our spunky Scotty, she would have loved him just as we did. Someday we will get her a puppy dog all her own....but we will never forget our sweet Scotty.

You all asked so nice I just had to give in :) After I received many emails asking to have a Bunny Session all your own, I have opened this coming Sunday for just that. Bring your little bunny to my studio between the hours of 2-4 for a 30 minute session. You will receive 10 proofed photos in your online gallery for 7 days.
