Mollet Family

Could this little guy be any cuter? I don't think so... What a Doll!! This little cutie is just about the same age as my baby girl...we decided they need to have a play date soon :) What a cute couple - getting hitched in June! These cousins were adorable together... Had a wonderful shoot with a growing family. I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of two wonderful people from this family - so it was great to see the little baby boy they now have. He was 8 months old and full of life. What a cutie! There was also a new little bundle of joy, only 10 weeks old. He was so sweet and slept for almost the entire shoot. I got some shots of the entire family, all 16 of them and then shots of the kiddos. We even squeezed in some engagement pictures of the youngest son and his soon to be wife! It was a great evening with a wonderful family. Congrats on the growing family!

Leaving on a jet plane...

Gone again...My wonderful friends Dana and Michael are heading out New Years Day. One is going to change the world in the Peace Corps and the other is going to change the world in L.A. I am so proud to call them both not only my friends, but my family. They are brave, compassionate, and a wonderful Aunt and Uncle to my baby girl. Seeing them go is sad, but knowing they are doing what they are meant to do is amazing to witness. Best of luck to Dana and Michael both, I can't wait to hear all about your adventures - and most of all I can't wait to come and visit!

You tell me...

In this picture Auburn is loving it all...You can't see - but she is in the middle of about 15 people just eating it up. She does not mind being the center of attention one bit. What was the best moment of your Christmas Day? Share your special moments...I am sure you have more than a few. We truly enjoyed our first Christmas as parents. We had a blast at the Porch Family Christmas Eve pajama party. Then enjoyed Christmas morning just the three of us - of course Auburn had no idea it was different than any other day - but that did not stop us from doing it up right. Then it was off to the Ozment house for Christmas Lunch and goodies. It is amazing to see how fast families can multiply...My parents went from 3 grandchildren to 8 in just a year. Needless to say, it was a fun-filled afternoon. Share your special moments with me. I would love to share in the memories of your Christmas. Stay tuned this week - some exciting sessions are around the corner - and in just a bit comes the new website!

take a moment...

I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas! I took a moment during the hustle and bustle of the season to reflect back over the year. Many amazing things have occurred, each one making the year what it was meant to be. I have to pinch myself every once in a while - so thankful that I get to do what I love to do. A special thanks to the wonderful clients I have met and now call friends. I am truly honored to be your photographer...Take a moment this holiday season. Take a moment to snuggle. Take a moment to smile.Take a moment to see the art in life. Hope your Christmas is full of memories to cherish a lifetime. *as you can see our baby girl is already getting the hang of this Christmas stuff...She thinks this gift stuff is pretty great...Boy, are we in for it!

lets go pick some sunflowers..

Had a wonderful visit from a former student today. She came to visit from Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design. I am so very proud of her. We had a great dinner and talked art the whole time. My favorite subject. She was one of my first students to head off to art college and she has inspired many more to do the same. She loves sunflowers and Van Gogh - she was my picture buddy on our Europe adventure. Laura Lee - the picture of happiness...

home sweet home.....

The Porch Family is home. We are so glad to have electricity back! I never knew how much I would miss turning on the lights :) We want to give a warm thank you to our family and friends that opened doors to us. You all made us feel at home and we had a great time catching up with everyone. Auburn had fun on her ice storm adventure! Wanted to share a few pics - I had a wonderful shoot Sunday! An adorable family that are so much fun. They have the most beautiful red hair and amazing smiles. I loved to see the love and connection between mom and daughter. They have a great relationship. It was great to witness. I also include a shot of Auburn with her new little tooth - she now already has a tooth right next to it. It is pretty cute!

Thank you Panera Bread...

Well....I have been cut off from the world - like many of us Oklahoma folks have been. The ice storm has left us with little electricity - but loads of fun things to do. The positive side was the 3 days off of work to play, snuggle, wrap Christmas gifts and just have fun! The negative side is the lack of communication I have had. Thanks to Panera Bread ( bless them and the free wifi)I can check my email with in in-box that was just about overloaded. Thank you to my patient clients who were wondering where the heck I have been - I am hoping to have power soon - but fear it could be 3 to 4 more days. Thank goodness I was all caught up and ahead of things with holiday orders before the storm hit...Hope everyone is staying warm. We are pretty excited to introduce Auburn to her first snow - we should be getting a few inches tonight and tomorrow - I will be sure and post pictures. I have two exciting shoots this weekend - some really fun families (snow pics :) - so stay tuned!

Like kids...

The husband and I are just like kids....Waiting for the news to show school closings. Then our school pops up and we jump up and dance. I know, it sounds crazy -but we love a snow day just as much as every other kid/teacher in the world. Another day to snuggle up with the baby girl, read books and play. What snow day would be complete without a mini photo session with little Miss Christmas herself?

75 degree weather?....

When it is warm and sunny in Oklahoma, in December for that matter...it calls for some outside shots of the little Sunflower. I was planning on taking some 7 month shots in a santa hat, but that can wait. The baby girl and I had a great afternoon soaking up the sun and exploring the park. One of the reasons we bought our current house is for the wonderful vintage park out our front door. This might be the first time Auburn has appreciated it. She could not stop looking all around, and of course putting everything in her little mouth.(got to love my little future artist eating the chalk..) Just shy of seven months old...Time goes too fast!

Collin

Brand new and fresh - little Collin was as sweet as can be. He was so little and darling. It was only yesterday that Auburn was that little, but you forget how little they really were....I had so much fun at this shoot. We tried some fun things and props. He took quite a few breaks to eat, but that was just fine with me. It gave me a chance to catch up with the wonderful mommy Beth and her amazing little family. I can't wait to watch Collin grow. He is a wonderful Christmas gift for a wonderful family.

Santa Baby!

It has been such a delight to capture Little Miss Hadyn's first year of life. She is walking now - and I just cannot believe how fast time goes! Had the pleasure of taking her Christmas shots - turned out super cute! She loved playing (and trying to eat) the lights. Had to work fast on getting some shots with her Santa hat - but was able to get a few. What a doll - and her eyes get brighter each day!
