date night....

Forgive the quality of this photo....taken with my iphone in the very dark Ford Center. The hubby and I had ourselves a little date night and went to the Kanye/Rihanna Concert tonight. He was even better than the last time I saw him - man he can put on a show! Dusty and I had to get in the spirit of the concert and put on our glow in the dark shades....We are big dorks, I know...but we sure have a good time.

Still proofing some new sessions to share with you. I am super excited for another weekend of wonderful weather and some great outdoor sessions. Get out and enjoy one of the many art festivals going on this weekend - take your pick between the Edmond and Norman Festival :)

Full of Love and Hugs.....I love engagement sessions. It is such a wonderful time to get to know the couple before they walk down the isle. Hearing how they met..honeymoon plans..drooling over the ring..It is always such a fun time. Sunday was a beautiful evening, even though it was a but chilly, we had a great time! Loving these proofs so far - can't wait to dive deeper into them!

Fun with the Manning Family!

When I arrived home from my first afternoon session today, I had to tell little Auburn that I found her a future hubby.....Little Zach was such a cutie! I LOVE photographing this age - full of smiles!!!! He had the cutest chubby cheeks and expressive eyes. Katy is an old college friend, and it was so nice to catch up and talk about our babies.....It is so crazy we are all have families now, no more lazy days of college. The Manning family is full of love and it shows in the proofs I have started working on. Enjoy your sneak peek....I can't wait to work on the rest of these - so many smiles to choose from :)

When it is your best friend's wedding it is sure to be filled with love, laughs, and LOTS of photos :) It was such an honor to stand by Kim's side as she said her vows with Brandon. I dare you to find two people who are as in love as these two.....Watching them stare into each other's eyes during the ceremony today brought me to tears. My AMAZING intern was a huge help in capturing the ceremony!!! She sure is rocking it with all her senior sessions - so proud of you, Meg! I will treasure this day always....Kim and I have been friends since we were 11 and I love her so much! When you are friends as long as us you are as close as sisters. I love you both so much! I can't wait to see you both in your white coats - Dr. and Dr. Kilgore :) Have a wonderful honeymoon - I thought about hopping into those bags and joining you in Hawaii....hee..hee..Auburn says hurry back Aunt Kimmy, she will miss you while you are gone :)

I have some special April Birthday loves....Dusty and Carl are birthday buds....today is my wonderful husband's birthday and yesterday was the birthday of the adorable Carl. Since the day Carl came into our world, it has been filled with big hugs and bigger stories....let me tell ya, the boy can tell one awesome story! Happy Birthday to my Taurus Birthday Buds..... Babes, happy birthday to you, my love. I know this birthday is extra special since it is the first one you are having as a daddy. You are the most amazing husband and father in the world. Your girls love you so much!!!! You are our hero :) p.s. this is an old photo, seeing as Carl is just about as tall as us now....

rachel-poo.....

Had a spring senior session with my wonderful Rachel this afternoon. The weather and lighting was perfect! We explored the town and got some super fun shots! I love Sundays....

Had breakfast with my loves this morning and enjoyed the yummy food and weather. Had to sneak in a few shots of our little sweetie. We tried out the lolly pop hoping to get some shots for her birthday invites......we got that along with a sticky baby girl on the car ride home. It was well worth the shots we got! Have a wonderful Sunday everyone - off to shoot a senior session in just a bit - can't wait to share these beautiful girl's with you :)

Busy Morning.....

It was a very busy Downtown this morning.....Memorial Marathon, booths going up for next week's arts festival....You name it - and it was going on. When we finally found some parking and took the long walk back to the Botanical Gardens I was so pleased to see all the wonderful flowers and GREEN EVERYWHERE! After too many months of outdoor sessions with dead trees and no flowers - It is Spring!!!! We actually found ourselves getting quite warm during the session, leave it to Oklahoma to go right to Summer from Winter....This couple kept me laughing the whole shoot. They were so funny and laid back, not to mention ADORABLE! We had a great time getting to know one another. I am so pumped for the upcoming wedding - I am ready to explore more of Guthrie for some unique places we can get bridal party shots!

of year......I love Senior sessions! I have had such a blast meeting so many soon-to-be graduates! Jordan was no exception....We had such a great session and the lighting was just perfect for us!!! I have discovered a perfect location for getting back to nature - a little secret garden by lake Hefner that can simply not be beat! Thanks for an awesome session Jordan - enjoy your sneak peek :)

Introducing....

Baby Ashton......Looking super cute on his birth announcement!!! I am LOVING playing with colors and designs on my new birth announcements. I am pumped for newborn sessions coming up-and thrilled to design announcements for all the fresh little faces! May babies are super special to me... (since it is the birth month of my baby girl)so I am offering 10 free birth announcements for every 50 ordered. Babies rule!

fun times.....

It was fun times this afternoon during my senior session with Phillip. I was sure going into this session that we were going to have a blast - and I was totally right :)I love seniors because they are up to try anything, and Phillip had lots of fun ideas... I was so glad he had his super wonderful girlfriend along with him, so she could help get him to pose just right. I am excited to dive deeper into these proofs - they are so much fun!!!!

Paint the Park.....

We have had A LOT of rain.....Jump right in and paint :) Leave the world better than you found it...That is just what the Paint the Park group did today. We spent the (windy...) day painting Bumpass Park. The paint was blowing all around, but we kept on truckin'....It was a great day and I was so touched at the hard work all the volunteers put in. Thank you so much to everyone who helped with today's community service project. It was a total success! It is great to think of all the children that will spend hours playing at the new colorful park.
