Christmas in July! Just a sneak peek of designs that will be featured this holiday season...

Starting in early Fall family holiday sessions begin to fill my calendar.....With that comes many families wishing for custom holiday cards. I wanted to share a few that will be offered this holiday season. When it gets a bit closer I will have an online gallery for you to choose a card that fits your family best. From there you will be able to pick the photo or photos of your choice to fill it. Remember it is never to early to book your holiday session. At the moment there are still October session available. Start a tradition of Family photos this Fall :)

out of the studio.....

I will be out of the studio 7/9 - 7/12 visiting Greenleaf State Park. Super excited for some nature shots and a family session. I have a hubby who is dying to take out his new boat (and it will be Auburn's first time on the lake) so it should make for a fun trip. She has her hot pink life jacket all ready to go :) When I return I have lots of love filled sessions....Four engagement sessions that I am so excited to shoot! I just love meeting new couples and sharing in their wedding fun! I am in the process of a new and improved BLOG too....So check back often and you just might be surprised with a new look :)

I intended to post this long ago, but my proofing marathon's have kept me from it. A wonderful Yukon family is in the process of adopting a little girl from Korea - and they need your help! If you get a chance to check out their blog you will for sure be touched with the journey they are on to complete their family. In efforts to raise the last amounts needed to help bring their baby girl home, they are selling some awesome shirts. The first order has just hit cut-off, but they will be placing another order. Last Chance!

New Announcements!

I have a handful of clients with pink in their future - and I promised to have some new and cute as can be birth announcements for them.  I wanted to share the new designs with you all...As always, 25 free announcement are included with your newborn session. I would never leave out the baby boy's though....New and blue designs coming soon!

NEW WEDDING SITE.....!!!!! Be sure and check out the new wedding website - just click on WEDDING SITE and you are there. It has been so much fun to work on and will continue to be filled with amazing couples and upcoming weddings! Next week is jammed packed with engagement and bridal sessions - I love wedding season!!!! I also get to photograph the sweetest family in the world this weekend - the wonderful Keyser Family....I cannot wait to capture Olivia, Claudia and little Henry!

On a side note - welcome home Kim and Brandon - I am so glad you had a blast in Hawaii! The photos are awesome!

Paint the Park.....

We have had A LOT of rain.....Jump right in and paint :) Leave the world better than you found it...That is just what the Paint the Park group did today. We spent the (windy...) day painting Bumpass Park. The paint was blowing all around, but we kept on truckin'....It was a great day and I was so touched at the hard work all the volunteers put in. Thank you so much to everyone who helped with today's community service project. It was a total success! It is great to think of all the children that will spend hours playing at the new colorful park.

we were so glad to see our old friends abe and olivia! or should I say, mayor Abe.... congrats on winning mayor :) don't forget us little people.....

Most of my days are art-filled - but today was jammed packed full of art in every form! Started the day with a trip down to USAO for our fourth annual chalk art contest. Over 400 teams competed in the 8x8 squares. It is such a fun event! My students rocked it - and I was totally proud of their designs. I am so lucky to have the most creative and talented students in the world....Later in the evening my fellow art teacher/partner in crime, Krista and I took the girls to an art opening. Our great friend and mentor, James Coplin, had an amazing opening of his new work. The girls had fun at their first art show! If you get a bit to check it out he has some wonderful and well priced art for your home.....I wanted to take it all home with me. It was an art filled day, and I would not have it any other way....

The website is down for just a bit.... As you can see Art and Soul got a groovy new way to enter the site (props to my amazing husband for making the super cool splash page) but for the moment while all the kinks are worked out - the main site is down.....Not to worry, we will be back up soon and sporting some new photos from recent sessions.
