Rock Stars...

This shoot was so fun! We went all over town shooting at funky places with painted doors and all the pumpkins we could find! The crazy part is a local restaurant thought we were big time when we shot outside their place. They must have thought Kelsey was a celeb ( she is so beautiful I can see where they would think that...) they invited us in - gave us the royal treatment - had some yummy food - it was WONDERFUL! I won't be forgetting this shoot any time soon. Kelsey is adorable...She is a free spirit with a huge heart. An amazing artist and an amazing person. I can truly say that I would love Auburn to grow up and be just like her. After a day of Senior shoots all I can say is - I HEART my job!!!

perfect day, perfect senior...

I have so many favorites from this shoot I don't know where to begin....Rachel brought so many great outfits and some amazing textured accessories. It was such a beautiful morning with not a hint of wind! YAY! This shoot was extra special to me, this is my first graduating class that I have had from Freshman to Seniors and I hate to see any of them go..Rachel is so dear to me - has been on all the summer trips and I feel like a part of her family. I will miss her tons and I know she will be so success full on college...You better still come visit us, Rach, or your little Auburn will miss you!

Little Pumpkin...

Took the baby girl to the pumpkin patch for the first time today. She spent most of the time chewing on straw and watching other kids climb on pumpkins...Got some cute shots of my little sweetie. Spent the rest of the day getting set up for the UNIQUE BOUTIQUE show in Norman - be sure to stop by and see me :) Have two senior shoots on Sunday so keep a look out for a sneak peek at those - they are adorable girls :)

CD Release

Had the pleasure of taking some head shots for a young man who is on his way to be a star! Taylor is releasing a CD in just a few months and wanted some shots for the cover and inside of CD. It was a really fun shoot - even though I was short of fun music to get everybody pumped up so early in the morning :) Best of luck to a very talented and fun musician! Don't forget to remember me when you are at the top!

Love is in the Air!

Love is in the air....Everywhere and all around! I had a wonderful weekend full of couples in love. I had two shoots on Sunday and they were both engagement sessions. This couple was so cute! They brought hats and scarves and that won me over! The weather and lighting was to die for. Every time I shoot at Will Rogers park I remember why I love it so much - it was made for pictures! We had some of the best natural light I have ever worked with. I am very excited for the February wedding of this great couple. After shooting two engagement sessions I had to come home and give my hubby a big hug! Seeing couples at the beginning stages of life together fills me with joy. I treasure each day with my husband and each stage in our journey as husband and wife. I wish the same to this weekend's couples - can't wait for the wonderful wedding's!!!

Wind.Wind.Go Away....

We didn't let the wind stop us...It was one of those crazy windy Oklahoma mornings. I am getting pretty used to them by now :) I am so glad to have trucked on with the photo shoot of a wonderful couple! They were nothing but funky and fun and today's engagement session made me so pumped for the spring wedding! You can tell in every shot how in love they are - they were so easy to work with and it was exciting to know that they would love and appreciate creative backgrounds and shots. I could not narrow down the pictures to post - so I included quite a few. I was so happy to meet this couple and I am honored to be chosen to capture their upcoming wedding!

Trick or Treat, Smell My........

First off...I love shooting in the Paseo...on a crisp fall morning with just a little of the wonderful Oklahoma wind. Second..I love the family I worked with today. It is always refreshing to work with a family that is laid back and nothing but fun! They looked so adorable in sweaters and jeans - little Alex had a dress that was too cute for words! I have done pictures of little Alex since she was just a tiny baby and she gets cuter every shoot. She was all over the place - exploring it all and cracking me up the whole time! She even sang me a little jingle that almost brought me to tears with laughter (we will keep it between us, right Candace?...) It was a wonderful morning with a family I truly adore! The big 3 year birthday party is in just a few weeks and I cannot wait to capture every moment of it. I decided after this shoot that I better stock up on my vitamins.....before I know it I will be chasing Auburn all around and she will be a big girl just like our adorable friend Alex. Little Blue Eyes....

Had a wonderful shoot with Baby Hadyn. I have had the pleasure of photographing her all through her first year of life. She gets cuter each and every photo shoot. She had a fun time with the pumpkins and playing in the grass. I love all her little teeth popping thorough - and her spunky personality. Her parents are near and dear to my heart - and I am so glad they love her pictures. Makes my heart happy. It is finally Fall - and I am soaking up every second of it!

Birthday happiness...

Sometimes one picture can describe an evening....or two..or three..It was a wonderful birthday evening with family and friends.Yummy food and even better drinks! I could not ask for a better birthday. We beat Texas! I was beyond excited about getting a super deal on a dream camera - and a new cocoa couch...Thanks to everyone that made the day special! I included a few pics of little miss sunflower that I took with the new camera - I told Dusty to beware..I might have a new love of my life...My lovely Canon.

Nature Weekend....

Just what a girl needs.... A weekend away with nothing but nature,sunsets,wonderful fall weather and beautiful family. Loved the time to take some nature shots and of course, baby girl shots.Fall is the best time of the year for pictures! October is booked with fun shoots, a little bit of everything.... newborn, engagement,wedding, little Alex and her 3rd birthday pics, and a handful of senior pictures.
