beach session with my parents....

Yesterday evening was a beautiful night in Seaside and called for a photo session with my parents. If you can't tell from these photos, these two are as in love now as the day they were married over 40 years ago. It was so great to capture their love in these photos. We have had such a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our time as a family. Papa (my dad) has enjoyed his snuggle time with Auburn during her naps - and my mom and I have hit all the stores to shop. Dusty and I also have gotten to do a lot more outdoor activities than we thought we would, since Grams and Papa are so eager to watch little Auburn. Here are a few shots from last night. Thanks you to my parents who have always been a true example of what love means.
I love the sun glow in this one :)

I heart Seaside.....

Our little beach babe!
Heading back from a walk on the beach.
If I had one town I would say everyone should visit in their lifetime....it would be Seaside Florida. I have been in love with this place as long as I can remember! I almost hesitate sharing the word on my favorite beach community. It has been the place for so many memories throughout my life.  Family vacations. Married in the town over (Destin). Honeymoon. and now sharing in the fun as Auburn explores it all!!! It has already been such a fun trip with memories I will never forget. Even though Auburn is too little to ever remember this trip, Dusty and I will never forget her tiny sandy toes - big belly laugh when she saw the ocean - look on her face when she tasted the sand :) It has been wonderful~ Dusty and I headed out to ride jet skis in the ocean today - and I must say I have not laughed (and screamed) that much in a long time! It was sooooo much fun jumping waves and flipping off a time or two. We were laughing about it all afternoon.....Here are a few more pictures of our adventures :)
check out the seaside website and plan yourself a little vacation in a town like no other!

out of the studio.....

I will be out of the studio from 7/26 - 8/3. The sunny beaches of Seaside are waiting for the Porch Family! I will have very limited Internet access during this time. All phone calls and emails will be returned as soon as possible upon return.  Photo orders will also be completed when returned. Have a wonderful week and I will have lots of pictures to share soon....and because I can't post without a photo - one more of the beautiful Cruson wedding!

The guys braved the heat and went along with my idea to get some photos in front of the old train. I am excited to work on ALL the cool photos from today. Guthrie is totally my new favorite spot for photos   - so many rustic areas!
I just had to post a few photos of Chance and Meagan's wedding before heading out of town tomorrow....I have so many images to post from the wedding, but I will share just a few for now. These two are such a beautiful couple....It was an amazing evening.....I will be posting many more in the next week! Thank you both so much for including me in your wedding day.

It is a beautiful location for the ceremony and I can't wait for some urban wedding party shots! I feel like I know so many people in the bridal party and family since I have had the pleasure of photographing the flower girl and ring bearer :) Tonight's wedding is going to be a blast!!

Baby Grayson....

He loved sleeping in the teacup.....it was adorable!!!
I was so lucky to spend the morning with a wonderful new mommy and her little man, Grayson. Grammy was also close by to help with the session. She let us use lots of props throughout her home to shoot. She had some amazing things to photograph him with. He was so wonderful the entire session, letting me get some cute awake shots - and then curling up for me with some sleepy shots. I could not have asked for a better little model! I was honored to capture the wedding for the new mommy and daddy, Amber and Glen - and so very honored to meet and photograph their son. Enjoy your sneak peek! Your little guy just stole my heart....Wish I could post a million of this morning's photos, but I am off the photograph a rehearsal dinner.
